First of all the location is very good, the property is clean and the housekeeping staff is very cooperative and committed to their job. I have been here twice and every time checkin and checkout process is seamless. The property provides a kitchen too which is a good addition for the self cooked food lovers. There are security cameras which cover almost each and every area of the property hence you can be a little assured with your belongings too. Although it's better to take care of your belongings as it is not the property's responsibility to look after them. The best part is there are multiple washrooms at the property so in case of emergency people can use washrooms of different dorms as well. All over very good stay 😄 Chilling environment with very good and cooperative staff.

Would like to start with the staff right away. Everyone there was very helpful, especially Miss Jyoti. She is a wonderful host and had helped me with a lot of things while I was there for my stay. The basic amenities were cool too. Bathrooms, floors and beds were regularly cleaned. They even got a kitchen in there so that we could cook our own stuff. I used to eat food at the balcony on the 1st floor in the evenings, that place chill fr. Would definately come back here when I'm in Delhi and looking for a place to stay.

The Desire Hostel has become like my Delhi home. I’ve stayed here on three different occasions throughout the past year and the staff is always friendly, Especially Mr. Rohit (Manager) is a great host, He really take care of everyone, he knows very well how to attend their guests. He was very supportive in anyway. The space is cleaned often.The guests are mostly young, friendly & traveling for work or school and a few tourists like myself. There’s a lovely gated neighborhood and park nearby to stroll through, and the nearby bus will take you anywhere you need to go. The room and bathroom were in good condition, service requests were quick. hostel for low budget travellers and it was a great experience. Everything was efficient and smooth. The place is well maintained. Staff is cordial and we had no issues throughout. Always happy to stay- thank you Desire staff! I will definitely be staying here again. Great experience staying here.

The people over her are really nice humble and helpful and especially JYOTI ,THE MANAGER she is very kind and treats like family member and very kind hearted and compassionate .always there for help and she is very down to earth and hardworking person. GOD BLESS HER and live a happy and prosperous life 🌻💫✨and and she has always been a great person and always helped with every requirement related to hostel and also ROHIT manager very kind and respectful towards the guest and very understanding with the everything related to hostel....the hostel is more like home and has family ambience and also very relaxing environmental ✨💫🌻

i am coming to desire from 4 years whenever i am i delhi .i hatd d the best of time in desire .The property is fully vantilated with lot of plants and trees .Shivalik colony is green zone of malviya nagar .In desire best part is the kitchen .people all over the globe come here and enjoy the kitchen part because they can cook there own food .kitchen is the best part with cooking gas and not electric induction .Ac are working really fine now .. propert is mostly clean and sometime face issue with guest who lack civic sense .Desire gives u the cheapest rate in delhi among hostel.thats why i love visting this property again and again when i am in delhi .. even my friends enjoy staying in desire alot ..because hostel is not boring and the vibe is amazing

I think this is what you need at the end of a trip, when you are a little tired of the local coloring. Or, on the contrary, at the beginning for smooth acclimatization. I stayed for two nights and left my backpack after check-out until late evening. In three months of my travels around India, this is the first hostel where I really wanted to spend time. A nice civilized area, the metro is 15-20 minutes away, along the way there is a lot of different street food. Several large supermarkets are within walking distance. It is quiet at night, there are no noisy parties. In the women's room, at least by 12, the lights were turned off and no one bothered me to sleep. Clean sheets, no insects, hot water, Wi-Fi. Relatively clean in the shower and kitchen (compared to other Indian options, this is clean). It is rare that there is a kitchen at all. Basically, guys from India stay here for a long time. Those who have remote work, for example. And very few backpackers from other countries. Very nice crowd, a little bohemian, I would say. The atmosphere is friendly, but at the same time no one imposes their communication. I felt respect for each other. Beautiful interiors. It's nice to chill on the roof or balcony. It was nice to come back here in the evenings, I will definitely keep this place in mind as a quiet haven the next time I visit Delhi.

For thie first, the staff is excellent, the reception person Miss jyoti chauhan and Mr rohit bagel are the best to do their jobs on work and i feels like home while i have stayed there. The staff is so cooperative, miss jyoti chauhan helped me so much to explore nearby places and supermarkets along with finding the best Street food with walking distance. Mr rohit bagel handle the customers very politely, he is the best person to make check in very smoothly. I think that place is so more like home. I have experienced very warm hospitality during my stay. I hope i can travel the same property very soon.

As a solo female traveller, I strongly recommend this place. The area is quite safe, and the hostel is accurately provides what it offers, not like some other places in Delhi. The staff helps you with information about staying in Delhi, and also you can find nice people around to chat with. This was my fourth time here, I always stay here is I am travelling through Delhi. You can store your luggage in a box under your bed, but you need a locker. The rooftop also has a good vibe even for slow mornings. Sometimes there are some party-kind of gatherings, a few years ago I had so much fun here. Nowadays I prefer peace and the gathering never disturbes me as it is on the rooftop. Also, the Malvya Nagar market is very very close and you can find there everything you need.

The property is great, you would feel homely for sure. The reason for feeling like is Rohit, he is the reason everyone feels so home like here. Along with the professionalism we expect from the places we stay the main thing is the homely feel. Once you get to know Rohit this place becomes your second home. 100 marks for Rohit. Keep up the good work. So committed to his job that you might see him awake late at night but you will find him on the desk in the morning.
